Our Story

Benebonis OY is a Finnish company that started operation in Helsinki in the 21st of August 2023. The main focus of the company is to produce fresh handmade tiramisu in three different flavours. The idea of setting up a company in Helsinki goes back in time when me and my wife met in Dubai while living there. I’m from Italy and she’s from Finland and we share our passion for food so we decided to come to Finland and start our new adventure. Our primary goal is the quality of our products, to bring joy to people which aligns with the name of our company, in Latin BENE BONIS means the good to the good people.

The Classico

A handmade tiramisu prepared following a personal recipe with only ingredients from the tradition. Being our best seller that shares the combination of two cultures in equal measures of brands from Italy and Finland - biscuits, mascarpone and coffee are from Italian brands, sugar, eggs and cacao from Finnish brands.

The Strawberry

This version is a fresher one that has no coffee and the biscuits are dipped in a handmade strawberry sauce. This makes it more suitable for kids as well or anyone who’s not friends with coffee. Fresh pieces of strawberries enhance even more the taste of this delicious dessert.

The Blueberry

Knowing the passion for Finnish people towards this amazing berry we couldn’t think of not doing it. As for the Stawberry the coffee is not included and a blueberry homemade sauce is there for you. The favourite of many that is ready to be one of our finest products.

Glögi-gingerbread

This version brings a festive twist by swapping traditional flavors for a delightful glögi-gingerbread pairing. Gingerbread biscuits are dipped in a homemade spiced glögi, infusing the dessert with warm, cozy notes of cinnamon, cloves, orange peel and cardamom. A sprinkle of crumbled gingerbread on top adds extra texture and charm to this irresistible treat!
